According to the report on Soccernet, Mario Sconcerti says Victor Osimhen caused the problems for Napoli last season.

Mario Sconcerti's reaction about Victor Osimhen

“The coach is not the Napoli problem last season.
“The problems were Osimhen and his injury and the African Cup.
“Napoli owner Aurelio De Laurentiis is right. He has been criticised for racism, but this is not the case. It is not a problem of skin colour but of calendars.”

Earlier, Sports Brief had reported how Super Eagles assistant coach Salisu Yusuf rolled out names of 35 home based players who will tackle the Black Stars of Ghana home and away in a 2023 African Nations Championship qualifying fixture.

Nigerian players will surely be going for a revenge mission against Ghana considering the fact that the senior team prevented the Super Eagles from qualifying for the 2022 World Cup.

Goalless draw was played in the first leg in Kumasi before the Black Stars forced the Super Eagles to a 1-1 draw in the return leg in Abuja.

Two Kwara United players who are Jide Fatokun and Afeez Nosiru made the CHAN list.

Jide Fatokun and Afeez Nosiru were superb last season for Kwara United in their campaign in the NPFL as they finished fourth.
