Two legends in their respective sporting fields have teamed up for a new advert to promote the upcoming World Cup in Qatar.
Former UFC Champion Khabib Nurmagomedov and former Netherlands international Clarence Seedorf have starred in Etihad Airways’ new advert, promoting the airline’s flights to Qatar.
The airline are promoting six direct flights to Qatar for the duration of the 2022 FIFA World Cup. The 2022 edition of the tournament will take place in Qatar from November 20 to December 18.
As reported by Bloody Elbow, the duo are seen being upstaged by a falcon in the ad. The falcon is the United Arab Emirates’ national bird and is also allowed on Etihad flights.

Have Nurmagomedov and Seedorf teamed up before?
Despite the difference in the sporting worlds in which they come from, Nurmagomedov and Seedorf happen to be business partners. The duo started a football management agency and a football academy, SportBible reported.
The academy is known as the Seedorf Khabib Performance Club. The training methodology combines football and mixed martial arts.
As noted by Sportskeeda, the duo also opened an MMA-integrated soccer school in Toronto, Canada earlier this year.
