Daily Mail are reporting that the 36-year-old striker was issued a parking ticket for his troubles as he and teammates had lunch together at an Italian restaurant.

United host neighbours City on Saturday afternoon and Ronaldo has continued to make underground moves to support manager Old Gunnar Solskjaer.

It was gathered that following their 5-0 loss to Liverpool, Solskjaer was issued a three-match ultimatum to turn things around or get fired and the game vs the Citizens is the third in that run.

Goals by CR7 seem to have put Solskjaer back on the job as the five-time Ballon d’Or winner scored in their 3-0 win over Tottenham before a sensational brace against Atalanta in the Champions League.

Ronaldo is also proving vital off the pitch as he continued to lead the charge to boost moral despite considerable murmurs and discontent within the squad.

Mirror are also reporting that Ronaldo led the Red Devils to a stylish Italian restaurant in Hale, Altrincham, named Cibo after training on Thursday morning.

The 36-year-old appeared in suit jacket in company of Raphael Varane who recently suffered an injury.

Jesse Lingard, Donny van de Beek, Dean Henderson and Luke Shaw donned tracksuits, while Juan Mata wore a turtleneck jumper and arrived with fellow Spaniard David de Gea, who had a colourful jumper on and stopped to take a picture with a fan.
