  • Erik ten Hag has been warned by Louis van Gaal not to take the job at Premier League side Manchester United
  • Louis van Gaal who coached the Red Devils feels that Hag should join a football team and not a commercial side
  • Current Man United interim coach Ralf Rangnick is expected to leave Old Trafford at the end of the ongoing season

Louis van Gaal has described Manchester United as a commercial club and has equally warned fellow countryman Erik ten Hag against taking the coaching job at Old Trafford.

Things are currently not going well at Manchester United with the club's chiefs planning to hire a permanent coach at the end of the season as it has been confirmed that the Red Devils won't win any title this season.

They have crashed out of the Champions League and the Premier League title is definitely between Manchester City and Liverpool this season.

Erik ten Hag who is currently in charge of Ajax is said to be the leading candidate to replace Ralf Rangnick at Manchester United in the summer.

And according to the report on Mirror UK, Louis van Gaal who was coach at Manchester United between 2014-2016 has warned Erik ten Hag not to take the job at Manchester United.

Louis van Gaal's reaction about Man United

“Manchester United is a commercial club and those are difficult choices for a coach. It is better to go to a football club. I'm not going to supervise his career and he will call me himself. But he should choose a football club, not a commercial club.”

Tension at Old Trafford as two Premier League clubs consider bids for impressive Man Utd midfielder

Earlier, Sports Brief had reported how English Premier League clubs Newcastle United and Aston Villa are said to be interested in Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba.

The Frenchman will be available for free this summer as his contract with the Red Devils expires at the current campaign, although there is no confirmation he will leave the Old Trafford outfit.

Pogba arrived at Manchester United in 2016 and his time at the club has been full of ups and downs as his future remains unclear.

Moreso, the Red Devils have not been impressive in recent years which could force the former Juventus star away from the club as he searches for silverware elsewhere.

The 29-year-old has been linked with a number of top clubs in Europe, but on Wednesday, a report claims two unnamed Premier League clubs are considering a move for him.
