The Most Popular Premier League Clubs in The United States as Man United Loses Top Spot

Liverpool have scored one over Manchester United in an odd category, officially toppling the Red Devils to become the most popular Premier League club in the US.

This is according to a new Morning Consult survey, which indicated that United’s popularity has somewhat dropped in recent seasons.

Things were made worse for the Red Devils after they endured their worst ever season in the Premier League in 2021/22, where they finished a lowly sixth, miles behind the likes of Liverpool and Manchester City.

From the survey, Liverpool take top spot in terms of popularity with 61%, United came in second with 60% of Premier League fans still favoring the Old Trafford club.

Third in the list was Manchester City, who had 59% popularity, followed by Chelsea, with 57%.

Arsenal rounded up the top five, with a popularity of 54% in the US.
