Henri Camara has congratulated forward Sadio Mané after breaking his all-time leading scorer record for the Senegalese national team.

The Liverpool star's hat-trick against Benin in the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers, saw the 30-year-ol move three goals up ahead of Camara to set a new record.

A delighted Henri Camara took to Instagram to pay tribute to their beloved star, Sadio Mane, insisting he is honoured by forward's achievement.

“I am very honored tonight to see my little brother, Sadio Mané, break my record for the most goals in the national team. It is a pride. I congratulate him and I wish him to continue to score and to wear the colors of Senegal. Bravo champion,” he posted.

Henri Camara, who played for Wolverhampton Wanderers, Southampton and Wigan in England, played 99 games for the Senegalese national team.

Mane needed 90 games to set the new record to add to his Africa Cup of Nations success earler this year.

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Liverpool superstar Sadio Mane has set an incredible record for Senegal after playing an influential role in his nation's Africa Cup of Nations Qualifier clash against Benin.

Mane was in the best form of his life during the Saturday, June 4, clash staged in Dakar as he netted a hat-trick to help Senegal kick off their AFCON qualifiers campaign on a bright note.

The Bayern Munich target broke the tie's deadlock within 12 minutes of action from the penalty spot after David Kiki was adjudged to have handled the ball in the penalty area.

Sadio Mané has confirmed he is on his way out of Liverpool after six years at the Merseyside outfit.

The 30-year-old Senegalese forward is expected to join German giants Bayern Munich in the summer transfer window, after the club showed interest in the winger.

In a pre-match press conference ahead of Senegal's AFCON qualifier against Benin, the Liverpool star confirmed his desire to leave the club following demands by Senegalese fans for him move to a new team.
