Liverpool are set to lose the services of Divock Origi when the Belgian striker’s contract runs out at the end of the season.

The 27-year-old has decided to end his 7-year stint with the Reds to seek more playing opportunities elsewhere after failing to pin down a starting shirt at Liverpool.

According to a report via 90MIN, Divock Origi has now agreed personal terms with AC Milan, turning down the possibility to stay in the Premier League in order to join the Seria A club.

The Belgian has decided to move to the Italian league despite several other offers from Premier League clubs who had been keen on the 27-year-old striker.

West Ham, Newcastle, Wolves, Southampton, and Crystal Palace were among the Premier League clubs interested in signing Origi on a free transfer.

Liverpool to hold victory parade this May

Meanwhile, Liverpool will hold a trophy parade irrespective of whether they win the UEFA Champions League or Premier League titles.

According to the Liverpool Echo, Liverpool Mayor, Joanne Anderson had already urged the club to take part in a victory parade throughout the city in anticipation of the season's possible outcome.

Liverpool has already been crowned champions of two major trophies this season after winning the League Cup and FA Cup trophies.

Jurgen Klopp rates his side's Premier League title chances

Earlier, Sports Brief reported Jurgen Klopp has downplayed Liverpool's Premier League title chances as the season enters its penultimate stage.

The Reds are currently neck-to-neck in the title race with reigning champions, Manchester City, with just one match left to end the season.

City are topping the standings with 90 points, just one ahead of second-placed Liverpool.
