Zungu was upset when Sithebe agreed to sign a pre-contract with the Amakhosi in January and froze him out of the team. Sithebe was banned from playing for the side ever again but continued training with the squad.

Sithebe was officially unveiled as a Kaizer Chiefs player on Monday and will finally get to play again after six months of inactivity.

After completing his move, he finally got to send a message to his former boss. Sithebe said that before left the club, he never got to have a chat with Zungu as he had to rush to a family ceremony, Soccer Laduma reported. As a result, he decided to use the media to send a message to Zungu.

“Chairman, I do understand that football is a business, and things happen in this game. As players, we are guided in our decisions by contracts that we get offered, which I’m sure you understand,” he said.
“Having said this, I thank you wholeheartedly for the chance that you have given me to play for the club under your leadership since you took over. We have been like a family, and I enjoyed the time I spent with the club under your leadership. I thank you,” Sithebe concluded.

Sithebe is one of the many new faces at Kaizer Chiefs as the Amakhosi aim to rebuild their squad ahead of next season.

The AmaZulu FC owner has had a grudge against the Amakhosi since January over their pursuit of midfielder, Siyethemba Sithebe.

Sithebe agreed to join The Glamour Boys upon the expiration of his contract in June, but Zungu was not happy with the way the deal was concluded. As reported by iDiski Times, Zungu recently buried the hatchet with the Amakhosi management over the issue regarding the player.
