Inspirational Ghanaian singer, Fameye, has been hanging out with Black Stars duo Jonathan Mensah and Yaw Yeboah in the United States.

The Ghana senior national team players ply their trade in Major League Soccer for Columbus Crew.

In photos posted on social media, the singer was welcomed by the players as they made him feel at home.

Fameye is reportedly in the United States for the Ghana Music Awards USA.

Meanwhile, Jonathan Mensah and his teammate Yaw Yeboah lined up for Crew's match against Atlanta United over the weekend. Mensah featured and played full throttle in the 2-2 draw while Yeboah watched from the bench.

Jonathan Mensah has been captain of Columbus Crew since 2020, leading the club to MLS triumph that same year.

Yaw Yeboah joined the American club in 2022 after leaving Wisla Krakow in Poland.

Jonathan Mensah suffers head injury in Ghana's draw against Central African Republic

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Mohammed Kudus scored for the second game running as the Black Stars of Ghana were held to a 1-1 draw by the Central African Republic in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.

The game, which was played in Angola, was marred by Jonathan Mensah's injury in the second half following a collision with a Central African Republic defender.

The defender had to be rushed to the hospital after a lengthy spell on the pitch receiving treatment from the team's medics.

Jonathan Mensah recovers from horrific injury

Jonathan Mensah is responding to treatment and he is in stable condition, according to the Ghana Football Association.

The defender was involved in a horrific injury during the game between Ghana and the Central African Republic in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers in Angola on Sunday.

In a statement released by the GFA on their official website, the defender is in good condition after suffering concussion.
