Legendary Ghanaian forward, Asamoah Gyan, has shared his excitement after beginning his UEFA License B coaching course in Wales.
The former Ghana captain met ex-Chelsea and France winger Florent Malouda, as they both started studies to acquire their coaching badges.
In a post on Twitter, Asamoah Gyan expressed delight in his new move as he eyes a coaching job after his career.
"A new chapter, FAW UEFA B, eyes on the ultimate," he posted with photos from one of the sessions.
Asamoah Gyan began his new chapter over the weekend after leaving Ghana for Wales on Saturday night.
The six day residential course will provide the Ghana legend a UEFA License B coaching certificate.
The 36-year-old is yet to officially announce his retirement from the sport after returning to Ghana in 2020.
His last club was Legon Cities in the Ghana Premier League.

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that an image of Asamoah Gyan in Wales for his UEFA Coaching License certificate has surfaced on the internet.
The 36-year-old former Sunderland and Al Ain striker left the shores of Ghana for the European country over the weekend as he takes steps toward realizing his dream of becoming a coach when he hangs his boots.
Gyan has never been shy about his ambitions of occupying the Black Stars hot seat in the near future and is currently putting his money where his mouth is to bring his dreams into reality.

Ghana's leading all-time top scorer Asamoah Gyan has not retired yet but aims to play an important role on the Black Stars technical bench.
The 36-year-old has expressed his interest in serving on the Black Stars technical team as strikers' coach.
He made this assertion in an interview with Accra-based television network Citi TV, underlining his readiness by revealing he has drawn plans to acquire his coaching badges in the coming months.
