The 36-year-old former Sunderland and Al Ain striker left the shores of Ghana for the European country over the weekend as he takes steps toward realizing his dream of becoming a coach when he hangs his boots.

Gyan has never been shy about his ambitions of occupying the Black Stars hot seat in the near future and is currently putting his money where his mouth is to bring his dreams into reality.

In photos posted on Twitter, sighted by Sports Brief, Asamoah Gyan was captured sharing a heartwarming downtime with ex-Newport County player Sam O'Sullivan ahead of their session planning.

Asamoah is yet to announce his retirement from football but has been inactive and unattached for almost a year following the expiration of his contract with Ghana Premier League outfit Legon Cities.

Asamoah Gyan is taking baby steps to realize his coaching dreams with the legendary striker heading to Europe to acquire the UEFA B Coaching certificate.

Gyan, Ghana's record top scorer with 51 goals, had earlier stated he dreams of playing a major role on the Black Stars technical bench and seems to be taking giant steps in turning his dreams into reality.

According to GHANAsoccernet, the erstwhile Udinese, Sunderland and Al Ain forward will be heading to Wales to start the process of acquiring the UEFA B License.

The 36-year-old has expressed his interest in serving on the Black Stars technical team as strikers' coach.

He made this assertion in an interview with Accra-based television network Citi TV, underlining his readiness by revealing he has drawn plans of acquiring his coaching badges in the coming months.
