Reading defender Abdul Baba Rahman has resumed training ahead of their Championship game against Barnsley on Saturday.
The Ghanaian left-back has been on the sidelines since February after suffering a knee injury while in action for his club in the English Championship.
As a result of the injury, Rahman was dropped from the Black Stars squad that faced Nigeria in the play-offs of the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
Ghana qualified for the Mundial after they edged their West African rivals in a nail-biting World Cup last round qualifiers staged over two legs.
Rahman, who has made 24 appearances for Reading this season, has now returned to Hogwood Park Training Ground at Reading ahead of this weekend's fixture at Oakwell.
Rahman took to social media to reveal his delight to rejoin the rest of his teammates in readiness for the Royals.
"Smelling the grass and feeling good," Rahman posted on Twitter.
Ghana’s Baba Rahman Could Miss Nigeria Game Due to Injury
Sports Brief earlier reported that Ghana international Abdul Baba Rahman is a doubt for the upcoming World Cup playoffs after he sustained a thigh injury during a Championship match.
The 27-year-old has been on the sidelines since he got injured on February 19 this year when his side Reading recorded a 3-2 win over Preston North End.
Rahman's return is not clear yet but Ghana is confident that the left-full back will not be on the sidelines for a long period.
