"We can do it: we will play it at home!," he wrote on Twitter.

The English giants have struggled in recent times, which has seen them drop to tenth place in the English Premier League.

The London club were very active in the winter transfer window, bringing in the likes of Joao Felix and Enzo Fernandez.

However, the Blues are yet to convince their fans after just a win in their last five Premier League games.

Chelsea will host Southampton on Saturday with the hopes of bouncing back after the defeat in Germany.

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Graham Potter suffered another setback after Chelsea were beaten in the first leg of the Champions League round of 16 tie against Borussia Dortmund.

A blistering Karim Adeyemi counter-attack in the second half was enough to hand the German side a slim advantage heading into the second leg in two weeks.

Chelsea did everything right except score and it is undoubtedly another frustrating moment for an under-pressure Potter.

Silva opens up on Graham Potter

Veteran defender, Thiago Silva has refused to give his verdict on how well or poorly Graham Potter has adapted to his role at Chelsea.

The Blues are in unfamiliar territory, with the London side in 10th place and at great risk of missing out on European football next season.

Despite a decent start to his life at Stamford Bridge, Potter has struggled to churn out consistent results of late. The club is expected to back him and give him time to implement his tactics despite the season's outcome.
