Borussia Dortmund forward Sebastien Haller has finally resumed training, three months after his testicular cancer diagnosis.
The 28-year-old penned a four-year deal with the Bundesliga side in July but the lanky striker was diagnosed with a testicular tumor.
The Ivory Coast international has since undergone chemotherapy and his return to the training pitch is a welcome step in the striker's recovery.
Ajax manager Alfred Schreuder confirmed Haller's return ahead of their clash with Liverpool on Wednesday.

He said via Daily Mail: 'He asked us if he could come and train because he was rehabilitating here.
'Then it is of course wonderful that he can be there for a while. He was able to train on a different pitch to help his recovery.'
Haller joined Dortmund from Ajax but he has yet to make a competitive fixture for the Bundesliga side.
Haller named Eredivisie best striker
Meanwhile, Borussia Dortmund forward, Sebastian Haller could not hold back the tears after he was voted as the best striker in the Dutch Eredivisie for the 2021/22 season.
Haller beat the likes of Lois Openda, Ricky van Wolfswinkel and Vangelis Pavlidis in the standings to win the Willy van der Kuijlen trophy.
The 28-year-old striker, who scored 21 goals for league champions Ajax last season, was the Eredivisie's top goalscorer in 2021/22.

FootballSports Brief earlier reported that Sebastien Haller says he is feeling very well as the Borussia Dortmund striker undergoes treatment for a malignant testicular tumour.
The Ivorian striker says he hopes to return to the football pitch as soon as possible after being sidelined since July after his surgery.
Haller joined Dortmund in a €34.5 million deal back in July as the Bundesliga giants looked to bring in a replacement for Manchester City-bound Erling Haaland.
