SportBible reported that Can regularly lectures and irritates his fellow teammates. He was also guilty of interrupting former manager, Marco Rose, while he was conducting a team talk during last season.

Dortmund's Sporting Director Sebastian Kehl and coach Edin Terzić are both said to be tired of the player and frustrated by his actions.

Can’s fitness woes are also counting against him. The midfielder missed 17 games last season due to muscle injuries. He has also struggled with fitness during the current pre-season.

Can is contracted to the German side until 2024 and his high wage demands have made selling him quite difficult.

Can joined Dortmund in 2020 from Juventus and has played 83 games for the side. He’s scored nine goals and provided seven assists during that time. Can is currently valued at € 16 million according to TransferMarkt.

Borussia Dortmund swoop for Haller to fill Haaland void

Borussia Dortmund completed the signing of Ivory Coast striker Sebastien Haller from Ajax on Wednesday as the Bundesliga club looks to fill the void left by the departure of Erling Haaland.

Haller, 28, had flown to Germany last month to undergo a medical with Dortmund following the sale of Haaland to Premier League champions Manchester City.

Ajax said they will receive a transfer fee of 31 million euros ($31.5 million) from Dortmund, an amount that could rise to 34.5 million.

Borussia Dortmund slams €120million price tag on 19-year-old star wanted by Manchester United and Liverpool

Borussia Dortmund are taking no chances in their bid to keep Jude Bellingham for the next few seasons and has slammed a ludicrous price tag on the England midfielder.

Bellingham has been on the radar of top European teams following his superb performances for the German outfit with Liverpool, Manchester United, and Real Madrid all interested in the 19-year-old.

Borussia Dortmund has now revealed they will only entertain offers in the region for €120 million.
