Robert Lewandowski was on top of his game as Barcelona cruised to a resounding 5-1 victory against Viktoria Plzen on Wednesday, August 7.

The 34-year-old scored a hat-trick on the night, his sixth in the competition, to become the first player to net a treble for three different teams.

The Poland international also surpassed Karim Benzema on the list of top scorers of the UEFA Champions League.

As it stands now, the 34-year-old is only behind Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, who have managed to net eight hat-tricks each.

Since joining the Spanish giants for €45 million from Bayern Munich, Lewandowski has scored eight goals in five games in all competitions.

Following his impressive performance in recent weeks, football fans took to Twitter to hail Lewandowski for his immense abilities.
