Barcelona defender Jordi Alba tied the knot with girlfriend Romarey Ventura in a ceremony held in Seville.

Football stars led by Alba's former teammate Lionel Messi graced the event. Messi was filmed when he arrived at the airport together with his wife Antonella Roccuzzo.

Messi was joined by Xavi Hernandez who is the current manager of Barcelona, Sergio Busquests, Riqui Puig, Sergi Roberto and Alvaro Morata.

Sportskeeda reports that Gerard Pique skipped the event to avoid attention generated from his breakup with pop star Shakira.

The report further states that Luis Suarez, Cesc Fabregas, Koke, David De Gea, Sergio Ramos and Marc Bartra were similarly at the event.

Messi developed a strong relationship with Alba who joined Barcelona from Valencia in 2012. Alba is one of the best left-backs the world has ever seen. He has lifted 15 titles during his stay at Barcelona including the 2015 Champions League title.
