Carlos who won the 2002 World Cup with Brazil, named the former Arsenal and Chelsea defender as the best left-back in the world during his playing days.
The former Real Madrid defender selected Cole ahead of himself when he was asked to pick a left-back in a combined Real Madrid and Arsenal team of the 2003/04 season.

Cole won multiple trophies during his active days as a professional, most notably winning the UEFA Champions League title with Chelsea in 2012.
