Eddie Nketiah scored a brace as Arsenal defeated London rivals Chelsea in a six-goal thriller at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday evening.

The English-born Ghanaian forward led the Gunners to a 4-2 victory as Arsenal revived their top four hopes.

Having suffered back-to-back defeats to Crystal Palace and Southampton, the 22-year-old started what will be a thrilling night for Mikel Arteta's men after opening the scoring in the 13th minute before completing his brace in the 57th minute.

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Arsenal on Wednesday night, 20 April, kept their hope of qualifying for the Champions League alive after beating Chelsea 4-2 in tough Premier League battle at Stamford Bridge.

Going into this Premier League encounter, Arsenal players knew that a win would be of great help in their top four chase, and they did themselves lots of good.

Chelsea won the first fixture 2-0 at the Emirates stadium with Romelu Lukaku and Reece James netting the two goals, but they were unable to win this time around in front of their fans.
