Super Eagles forward Moses Simon was all joy as he celebrated his 6th wedding anniversary with wife Ibukun.

The couple who got married in the ancient city of Ibadan, Oyo state back in 2016 has two beautiful daughters who were given birth in 2018 and 2020 respectively.

Simon in 2018 announced the birth of his first daughter when he posted on his official Instagram account along with a picture of his wife and their newborn.

Also in May 2020, the Nigerian winger was in a celebratory mood as he wrote a post on social media giving thanks to God and showing appreciation to his wife who delivered their second girl child.

The 26-year old Nantes forward once again took to social network Instagram on Wednesday to celebrate his marriage to Ibukun, showering encomiums on the mother of two.

“BlessedHappy 6th year anniversary to us, today We made one of the best decision of our life,it’s has being a wonderful journey and I’m glad I choose you to walk through this part,thank you for always loving me for who i am and for taking care of us we love you, may God keep us together forever @princess_mide27 ❤️”

Moses was recently named in Nigeria’s provisional 28-man list for the African Cup of Nations starting on January 9 in Cameroon.

Earlier Sportsbrief had reported Super Eagles striker Odion Ighalo returned to Ajegunle area of Lagos to participate in the Salami Street carnival; an area where he grew up.

The Al-Shabab of Saudi striker took time out to personally attend the event and shared photos of the activities on his Instagram handle.

Ighalo has always identified with his roots as he was recently in the area where he visited the house he earlier purchased for widows.
