The Al-Hilal star gave his verdict on who he considers the most exciting talent coming out of the soccer-loving nation when asked about it in a viral video on social media.

"Which talent of this new generation excites me the most? I think Estevão of Palmeiras is a big talent that is surging in Brazilian football. I think he will be a genius,” he said.

This agrees with Palmeiras president and World Cup winner, Branco’s statement on the youngster's prospects after his move to Chelsea was made official.

"Estevao, for me, with all due respect to the others, this is something serious, something that I’ve never said, and I’m going to say - since Neymar, he is the greatest player I’ve seen born in Brazil," he told Canal WAMO via Football365.

"This is my opinion, you’ve seen him close, you know. This is Brazil, they’re all spectacular but this boy, his ceiling is a bit higher," Branco added.

Palmeiras played a smart one and inserted a Ballon d'Or award clause worth €4 million in the deal in case he wins the Golden Ball during his time at Chelsea.
