Cristiano Ronaldo endured a mixed afternoon when Portugal played Turkey in their second game of Euro 2024 at Signal Iduna Park on June 22.
Ronaldo failed to find the back of the net but still played an important part in the 3-0 win as he selflessly set up Bruno Fernandes in the second half.
The Portuguese icon is yet to open his tally at this year's Euro championships but will be happy that the Selecao have made it through to the Round of 16 as group winners with a game to spare.
Away from the rigours of the match, Ronaldo had to contend with multiple pitch invaders who risked their all to get a picture with the five-time Ballon d'Or winner.

Ronaldo was approached by at least three invaders at different moments in the game. While some, like a young boy at the start of the second half, received a warm reception from the Al-Nassr captain, others were treated coldly.
Ronaldo shoves pitch invader
With the game still finely poised at 0-0, Ronaldo did not take it kindly when a fan dressed in an all-black outfit approached him as Portugal were about to take a corner.
The 39-year-old shoved the fan aside and declined to take the selfie. The fan was seconds later subdued by stewards as Ronaldo asked the referee to get the game going.
Head coach Roberto Martinez acknowledged that fans always treasure a moment with icons but reiterated that it was paramount for security to be beefed up.

Football"It is a concern. Today the intentions of the fans were good. We all love a fan who recognises the big stars and icons. But you must understand there's a difficult moment if their intentions are wrong. We need to be careful. It shouldn't happen - there's a lot of security," he said, as quoted by BBC Sports.
Ronaldo warmly accepts young pitch invader's request
In the young boy incident, Sports Brief reported that Ronaldo warmly embraced the young boy, who raced to him for a selfie.
The five-time UEFA Champions League winner gladly accepted the request before the boy darted off with the stewards hot on his heels.
