He started a fundraiser to help get the child through the necessary medical care which included surgery to fix her amputated leg with an artificial one.

Adingra, who spent most of his life in Ghana with the Right to Dream Academy, reacted to the news, supporting the trip of the girl to London for an operation.

In photos shared on social media, Adingra was spotted in the company of little Patience as she prepared for her surgery.

"Simon Adingra the football superstar was here to visit the little girl (Patience) who survived the motor accident that took the lives of 20 people,” Nana Tea wrote on Instagram.
“She and her mom were the only survivors but unfortunately, she has lost her leg. Mr. Adingra was part of the people who supported our trip to the UK to get her a prosthetic leg at the Doctor's Clinic.
“He came around to say hello and wish her a speedy recovery. God bless you sir and everyone supporting this.”

Meanwhile, Adingra enjoyed an outstanding year, winning the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast after starring in the final against Nigeria, delivering two assists in the 2-1 victory.

He has also been one of the best players at Brighton this season, scoring six Premier League goals in 31 matches for the Seagulls, per Transfermarkt.
