Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Ivorian winger Adingra received a heroic welcome following his starring role at the Africa Cup of Nations.

The Brighton forward played a pivotal role as the Elephants emerged champions of Africa after beating Nigeria in the final on February 10, 2024, at the Stade Ebimpe.

Sports Brief also reported that a Brighton fan travelled to watch Adingra play for Ivory Coast in the Africa Cup of Nations final.

The fan, in his Seagulls kit, could not hide his joy after the 22-year-old starred as the host nation came from behind to beat Nigeria and win the tournament.

Adingra served up the assists for both Ivorian goals and was a menace for Nigeria defender, Ola Aina, who failed to contain him down the flank.
