In a video that has since gone viral on social media, Boniface is seen hyping up teammates Nathan Tella and Jeremie Frimpong as they jammed to a Burna Boy song.

The duo are known for their silky dancing moves as well as their impressive displays on the pitch as Bayer Leverkusen enjoyed a historic campaign.

Boniface was named the Rookie of the Year in the Bundesliga following an outstanding campaign, which saw him win the monthly award four times in a row, as reported by Punch NG.

Tella and Boniface will join the Super Eagles team for the 2026 World Cup qualifiers in June against Benin and South Africa while Frimpong travels with the Dutch team to Germany for the 2024 European championship.

Boniface reacts after securing double

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Super Eagles striker, Victor Boniface reacted after Bayer Leverkusen defeated Kaiserslautern to win their first-ever DFB Pokal in 31 years.

Former Arsenal midfielder, Granit Xhaka, scored the only goal of the game in the first half as Leverkusen claimed a deserving 1-0 win over the Bundesliga 2 side at the Olympiastadion on Saturday night (May 25).

Die Werkself were the clear favourites ahead of the final, but their 3-0 loss against Ademola Lookman's Atalanta in the Europa League final on Wednesday (May 22), which ended their unbeaten record, still lingers in the players' minds.

The song, titled Kolom, was composed by Ghanaian music duo, Buk Bak, and was a hit jam in 2012.

Frimpong and Tella starred for Leverkusen as the club won its first-ever Bundesliga title on Sunday after beating Werder Bremen at the BayArena.
