Manchester United co-owner, Sir Jim Ratcliffe, has given a telling answer after he was questioned about Erik ten Hag's future following their FA Cup triumph.

Ten Hag has come under heavy scrutiny this season following an underwhelming campaign that saw them finish eighth in the Premier League table with 60 points.

The Red Devils won only 18 of the 38 games played, and 14 other games ended in defeat.

The woeful run of form sparked speculation United could get rid of Ten Hag at the end of the season.

However, the Dutchman appeared to have his future secured after he led United to the FA Cup triumph against rivals Manchester City.

Ten Hag's men silenced the English champions 2-1, with Kobbie Mainoo and Alejandro Garnacho finding the back of the net to help United lift the trophy.

Sir Jim Ratcliffe asked about Ten Hag's future

Metro UK reports that Ratcliffe gave a telling reaction after he was asked about the future of Ten Hag at Old Trafford.

A video of the British billionaire being directly asked about the future of the former Ajax boss has since gone viral.

Having been caught off guard, the INEOS Chief looked back at the reporter who asked him about his position on Ten Hag before moving along without saying a word.

On his part, while commenting on his future with the Red Devils, Ten Hag said:

"Two trophies in two seasons and three finals. That’s not bad. If they don’t want me any more I go somewhere else to win trophies. That is what I do."

Ten Hag answers sack question

Earlier, Sports Brief reported on Ten Hag speaking on his Man United future after leading the club to FA Cup triumph.

Surprisingly, City were second best for large parts of the game and were made to play for miscommunication at the back as teenager Alejandro Garnacho scored the opener.
