Arsenal captain, Martin Odegaard, was in his element during the 1-0 win over Manchester United, with an opposing midfielder getting destroyed with his quick feet.

The Gunners faced a must-win game at Old Trafford to push the Premier League title race with Manchester City into the final day, and they narrowly won the game.

Leandro Trossard’s first-half strike was enough to earn all three points, one above Man City in second place, even though the champions have a game in hand against Tottenham Hotspur.

Arsenal beat their North London rivals 3-2 last week but now rely on them to stop Manchester City and return the advantage to them ahead of the final day match.

Odegaard embarrasses Amrabat

On-loan midfielder Sofyan Amrabat was handed a rare start by Erik ten Hag due to injuries, with Casemiro starting a second straight game in the heart of defence.

As seen in footage circulating on social media, during the 54th minute, the Moroccan midfielder made a move on the Arsenal captain, who evaded him with a sharp turn, sending him tumbling.

The Red Devils signed him on a season-long loan from Fiorentina in the summer after weeks of prolonged negotiations. However, United were unable to pay the £30 million asking price due to financial fair play regulations.

A few weeks into a £9mil loan move, it became apparent that it was a wrong move. United decided that the loan would not be made permanent for £21mil and that he would return to Florence.

Per Football Italia, the Serie A club has no intention of keeping him, and a conversation will be held over his future as the club aims to move him on this summer.

Old Trafford's roof leaks rainwater

Sports Brief reported on Old Trafford’s roof leaking water after a heavy downpour following Manchester United’s defeat at home against title hopefuls Arsenal.

The incident confirms Cristiano Ronaldo’s claim that the club facilities were depleted during his explosive interview with Piers Morgan, which led to his contract termination.
