Nigeria forward, Victor Boniface, feels proud of his achievements with Bayer Leverkusen in his first season with the club.

Boniface starred as the BayArena outfit won their first-ever Bundesliga title in magnificent fashion, going through the entire season without a defeat.

The 23-year-old was named Rookie of the Year for his outstanding performances for the club across the campaign.

Bayer Leverkusen were officially crowned champions of Germany on Saturday, May 18, 2024, after their final game of the season against Augsburg. A game the Nigerian scored in as Leverkusen won 2-1.

In a video shared on social media, Boniface posted all his laurels for the campaign, including his four Rookie of the Month awards.

During the campaign, the striker was presented the Golden Boot award for emerging top scorer from last season's Europa League. Boniface could win the tournament this season after helping the German champions reach the final, where they face Atalanta.

The Super Eagles star could add the DFB Pokal title to his list of accolades if Leverkusen beat Kaiserslautern in the final.

In his maiden season, Boniface scored 14 league goals and delivered nine assists, per Transfermarkt.
