The Reds’ final game will be a home fixture against Wolverhampton Wanderers. This will provide Klopp one final opportunity to connect with the fans ahead of his exit.

Klopp sets up Instagram account

Despite admitting in the past that he was not a social media guy, Klopp appears to have finally succumbed to pressure, and is keen to connect with fans after his Liverpool stint comes to an end.

Klopp’s official Instagram account was launched on Saturday morning, garnering over 500,000 followers within the first four hours.

The account has the phrase “The Normal One” in the description, and one of the German’s first posts was an open letter to Liverpool fans.

"Dear Liverpudlians, we're getting closer to the end," Klopp stated in the post, per The Mirror.
"On the 8th of October 2015, we met for the first time properly. I would call it a love affair. From the first day, it was an absolutely incredible, incredible time.
"I enjoyed it so much and want to thank you so much for all the support you gave us over the years, for all the power you gave us. I've wondered always that it feels like we write a story together and that's how it feels today. It's a good book. And if we read it in the future, we will have a smile on our face.
"Leaving this incredible place is hard, but I want to stay in contact with you. And even when I'm not a social media guy, people told me social media helps with that. So, here we go. See you!"

Fans continued to follow the account by the thousands, and by evening, Jurgen Klopp had already gained more than one million followers.

His farewell video to Liverpool fans has more than 1.1 million likes.

The 56-year-old has been intent on ensuring he leaves no stone unturned in his farewell. He also wrote a lengthy letter, detailing his true feelings about Liverpool in Saturday’s edition of the Liverpool Echo.

While he has managed to keep his emotions in check in his latest press conference, emotions are bound to run high during his final game in front of the Kop.
