The German will leave Anfield as the club’s greatest manager in the Premier League era, having secured all major trophies, including an unprecedented Premier League title in 2020.

Emotions are expected to run high over the weekend during Klopp’s final game. Still, Liverpool fans have already had a glimpse of what is to come in future after images of their departing manager walking alone leaked.

In the images, Klopp stands at Anfield’s centre circle, almost like he is soaking in the atmosphere one last time.

Mail Sport reports that the 56-year-old was also spotted at the grandstand, where he is assumed to be filming a farewell video.

Why was Klopp alone at Anfield?

According to talkSPORT, there is a valid reason behind Klopp’s visit to Anfield days before the Wolves game.

The German tactician was scheduled to be at Liverpool’s home ground for an event, and the report claims Liverpool staff wanted to give Klopp a proper farewell and appreciate him for his nine-year tenure with the Reds.

All six major trophies Klopp won as Liverpool manager were on full display, and it is believed the manager had a Q and A session with those present.

Liverpool academy coach, Mike Yates, was one of the attendees at the event.

"An absolute privilege listening to the Boss at Anfield today, thanking and talking to all staff about managing our club, the city and its people…what a man. “We did it The Liverpool Way” Danke Jurgen." Yates wrote on X.

Klopp’s funniest moments

Sports Brief also reported on some of Klopp’s funniest moments during his Liverpool tenure.

The German developed an infamous reputation for making headlines for funny reasons, particularly during press conferences.

A memorable moment was when he resorted to rapping during an interview after his side beat Tottenham in 2019.
