Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag is facing a squad selection headache ahead of his side's Premier League clash against Crystal Palace.

According to the BBC, Harry Maguire is among the players who will miss the crucial encounter.

The England international is understood to have suffered a muscle injury in training that could keep him sidelined for at least three weeks.

Per GiveMeSport, Maguire's injury means that United does not have fully fit senior centre-backs, with Raphael Varane, Lisandro Martinez, and Victor Lindelof all out injured.

Youngster Willy Kambwala and Luke Shaw are also among the defenders currently sidelined.

How Man United could line up vs Palace

With ten Hag expected to rethink his backline, Andre Onana is expected to keep his place between the sticks.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Diogo Dalot are set to play on either flank at the back, with Casemiro partnering with youth star Louis Jackson at the heart of defence.

The exciting Kobbie Mainoo is a sure starter in the middle of the park, with Christian Eriksen likely to join him.

Bruno Fernandes is expected to play the No.10 role, with Antony and Alejandro Garnacho playing on the wings to support Rasmus Hojlund in the goal hunt.

Where Man United would finish under Tuchel

Earlier, Sports Brief reported on a supercomputer predicting how Manchester United would fare if they appointed Thomas Tuchel.

The former Chelsea boss is among the leading contenders to replace ten Hag at the Theatre of Dreams.
