The MMA star-turned-boxer has had to rely on those friends during this difficult period following the loss of his son.

As noted by the BBC, Ngannou announced on social media at the end of April his 15-month-old son, Kobe, had passed away.

"My little boy, my mate, my partner Kobe was full of life and joy. Now, he's laying without life. I shouted his name over and over but he's not responding.
"I was my best self next to him and now I have no clue of who I am. Life is so unfair to hit us where it hurts the most," his message read.

Kamaru Usman provides support for Ngannou

With The Predator still dealing with the loss, his good friend Kamaru Usman has been there to support him.

Usman and Ngannou became close friends while competing in the UFC, and still retain the bonds of friendship today. They are so close that they are more like brothers now.

Marca noted that The Nigerian Nightmare was one of many who attended the funeral, lending his support to Ngannou.

His support hasn't just extended to the day of the funeral either, as Usman recently took to social media to urge The Predator to trust in God during these trying times.

The former UFC Middleweight champion took to Instagram to share photos of himself with Ngannou during a recent trip to Cameroon. He also used Bible verses to urge Ngannou to remain strong and trust the Lord.
