Jeremy Doku became the latest Manchester City player to receive a public dressing down from Pep Guardiola on Thursday night.
Guardiola told off the Belgian winger in full glare of cameras and the away fans, despite Manchester City’s resounding victory over the Seagulls in the Premier League.
Goals from Kevin de Bruyne, Phil Foden (brace) and Julian Alvarez were enough to see The Cityzens move to within a point off league leaders Arsenal with a game in hand.
Doku came on for Bernardo Silva in the 78th minute, when City were in firm control of the game. He was, however, unable to make a considerable impact, but that did not stop Guardiola from having a go at the 21-year-old.

A video doing rounds online shows Guardiola embracing Doku , before quickly releasing him and appearing to reprimand him by gesturing two fingers.
It seems the Spaniard was annoyed by Doku’s loss of ball possession, which occurred several times during his brief cameo, according to Daily Star.
Guardiola’s past dress downs
By now, everyone knows Guardiola is not shy about exhibiting his true feelings during a football match.
The Spaniard has a tendency to make his point to players at full time, despite the criticism that has come with his antics in recent weeks.
On Sunday, March 31, Guardiola attracted criticism after lecturing Jack Grealish after a 0-0 draw against the Gunners.
Grealish was just coming from a groin injury and was introduced to the action in the second half, but was unable to inspire his side to break the deadlock.

FootballAfter that game, Guardiola embraced his antics with a hilarious clapback at reporters.
"I do it for the cameras. For my ego. I'm the most famous person of the team. I need the cameras to go to sleep with incredible satisfaction," the tactician said.
Joshua Kimmich was also once given the same treatment by Guardiola.
Man City fixtures
Sports Brief also reported on Manchester City’s remaining five fixtures as they look to wrap up a fourth successive title.
Their fixture list is relatively favorable, with the only true test in their remaining five games coming in the form of Tottenham Hotspur.
