Victor Boniface's lover, Rikke Hermine Jansen, has shared her excitement following her boyfriend's Bundesliga triumph with Bayer Leverkusen.

The Nigeria forward was on target as Leverkusen tore apart Werder Bremen to win the German league title for the first time in the club's history.

Boniface has been a key figure at the Bay Arena since arriving from Union Saint-Gilloise last summer.

The Super Eagles star made 20 goal contributions in the Bundesliga in only 18 matches. His campaign was briefly halted by an injury that also kept him out of the Africa Cup of Nations.

Boniface could end the season as a treble-winner if Bayer Leverkusen ends up adding the DFB-Pokal and the Europa League to their trophy cabinet, per the Bundesliga.

Bayer Leverkusen are through to the final of the German Cup and also have the lead in the quarter-final clash of the Europa League against West Ham United.
