The Gunners are currently topping the charts with 71 points after 31 games and are on level on points with Liverpool, who still have a game to play.

City, who are the defending champions are placed third with 70 points following their thrilling win over Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park on Saturday.

De Zerbi names the best Premier League team

With fans and pundits divided on which has been the better team this season among Liverpool, Arsenal, and Man City, De Zerbi has voiced his opinion.

According to the Brighton boss, Mikel Arteta's Arsenal are currently the best team in the English top-flight.

"Yes," De Zerbi declared when asked if he believes the north Londoners are the best team in the league.
"You can understand my words because Arsenal won 3-1 against Liverpool [in February], beat Man City at home and in the Champions League they are doing very well," he added via Metro UK.

Brighton, meanwhile, are eyeing a European football spot at the end of the season.

Pep Guardiola aims subtle dig at Arsenal

Earlier, Sports Brief reported on Guardiola aiming a thinly-veiled dig at Arsenal while speaking about the intensity of the Premier League title race

The Spaniard admitted to TNT Sport this was one of the tightest races he had ever been involved in. He aimed a subtle jibe at Arsenal while naming iconic rivalries with his former teams.

According to Guardiola, his side now has to win all their remaining games and hope that their rivals slip up in the final lap.
