Some players like Serhou Guirassy and Victor Boniface have stolen the headlines in the Bundesliga.

In England, Mohammed Kudus, Salah, Andre Onana, Pape Matar Sarr, 2023 AFCON final man of the match Simon Adingra, and others have been the standout players.

In Italy, Osimhen and his compatriot Ademola Lookman continue to impress for their respective clubs.

In the French Ligue 1, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Mostafa Mohamed, and Terem Moffi are scoring for fun.

Youssef En-Nesyri, Inaki Williams, and Brahim Diaz have turned up with eye-catching performances in Spain. Here are the African top scorers in Europe's top 5 leagues.

African top scorers in Europe's top 5 leagues

5. Youssef En-Nesyri (Sevilla) - 14 goals

The Moroccan striker has consistently produced goals for Sevilla in the last five seasons. His form took a dip last season, but he is on track to hit at least 20 goals in all competitions this season. In 33 appearances for the club, he has scored 14 goals, 10 in La Liga, two in the Champions League, one in the Copa del Rey and one in the UEFA Super Cup.

After winning their 7th Europa League title last season, Sevilla are having a difficult season. They find themselves 14th in La Liga with 31 points after 30 games.

4. Mohammed Kudus & Victor Boniface - 16 goals

These two West African stars are enjoying their first seasons in the big leagues. Kudus is scoring for fun at West Ham, while Boniface is helping Bayer Leverkusen end Bayern Munoch's Bundesliga dominance.

Kudus has scored 16 goals in 38 appearances in all competitions. Kudus and West Ham are having a decent season despite their loss of form.

Boniface, on the other hand, has 16 goals in 23 appearances. The last time Boniface played a full game was on December 20th, 2023. His return from injury is imminent. Leverkusen are comfortably top of the Bundesliga, 10 points clear with seven games left.

3. Mohamed Salah (Liverpool) - 22 goals

The Egyptian forward silenced the doubters who thought he was a one-season wonder. Despite an injury-ridden season, he consistently produces goals and assists at Anfield.

He has scored 22 goals in 33 games in all competitions. 16 of his goals have come in the Premier League. Only Erling Haalandf has scored more Premier League goals than him this season. Salah has scored at least 19 goals in the last seven seasons in the Premier League.

2. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (Marseille) - 23 goals

The former Arsenal striker is undergoing some revival in France with Olympique Marseille. The 34-year-old has bagged 23 goals in 40 games in all competitions. 11 have come in Ligue 1.

The former Borussia Dortmund striker this season became Europa League's all-time top scorer. Marseille will need his goals as they try to secure a European spot.

1. Serhou Guirassy Stuttgart - 25 goals

Guirassy has stolen the headlines throughout the season because of his match-winning performances for Stuttgart in the Bundesliga. He has scored 23 Bundesliga goals so far this season. Only Bayern Munich's Harry Kane (31) has scored more goals than the Guinean.

Guirassy has scored in Stuttgart's last four matches. The German side are third in the table, three points behind Bayern.

Salah matches Henry and Shearer's PL record

Sports Brief earlier reported on Salah equalling Thierry Henry and Alan Shearer's Premier League record.

The Egyptian star joined the two legends as the only player to record 25-plus goal contributions in seven Premier League seasons.
