In a captivating encounter at the Nelson Mandela Stadium on Tuesday, March 26, the 34-year-old netted twice in the first half to propel Bafana Bafana to a 2-1 lead at halftime.

Mosimane has added his voice to the chorus of admirers, stressing the importance of allowing Zwane the freedom to express himself on the field to maximize his potential.

“No arguments with the Coaches, but has an opinion. He keeps the dressing room quiet and focused, unselfish behaviour and cares about the team. Does not like anybody who dims his light. Always laughing but an introvert. You have to give him respect and appreciate his talent. Just tell him to dance and ski on the pitch and sit back. You will enjoy. Leader!”said Mosimane on X handle, as reported by iDiski Times.

Following South Africa's draw against the North African side, Zwane and his Sundowns teammate Ronwen Williams opted for a slightly different journey style.

On Wednesday, March 27, Williams shared snapshots on his Instagram stories, showcasing himself and Zwane aboard the private jet.

Sundowns are scheduled to face Young Africans in the CAF Champions League quarter-final first leg at the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium in Tanzania on Saturday, March 30, as reported by Far Post.
