  • Victor Osimhen has been tipped to join one of his suitors in Arsenal, Chelsea, or Paris Saint-Germain in the summer
  • The Nigerian international's future is still a doubt despite being linked with a move away from Italian side, Napoli
  • The Super Eagles striker recently signed a new contract with the Parthenopeans amid links with European giants

Transfer expert, Ben Jacobs, has shared his thoughts on Victor Osimhen's likely destination in the summer amid links with Arsenal, Chelsea, and Paris Saint-Germain.

The Super Eagles striker has been tipped to leave Napoli at the end of the season, but his destination is still in doubt.

Jacobs, while speaking on The Debrief, as per Caught Offside, claimed Osimhen could be heading to PSG in the summer to replace Kylian Mbappe.

The transfer guru also spoke on Arsenal being the better option if the Nigerian striker ultimately decided to move to the Premier League.

"Arsenal - like Joshua Zirkzee, they have been scouting Viktor Gyokeres; I think it's less likely at this stage that they're too aggressive on Victor Osimhen. PSG are maybe the more likely destination, but if Osimhen decides he wants to come to the Premier League and Arsenal enter the race, Arsenal can go head to head - they might even get ahead, financially speaking - of Chelsea," he said.

Chelsea might not give up on Osimhen's pursuit even with their ongoing issue of reportedly breaching the EPL's League Profit and Sustainability Rules.

Replacing Mbappe at PSG might not be an easy task for the Nigerian, but since he has Ligue 1 experience, he could end up being the club's best player.

Whichever way the wind blows for Osimhen, the summer transfer window is shaping up to be one of the most fascinating times in recent memory.

Napoli searching for Osimhen’s replacement

Sports Brief earlier reported that Napoli's search to replace Osimhen next season has led the Italian champions to the doorstep of Bologna loanee forward, Joshua Zirkzee, who has been identified as the ideal contender to replace the Nigerian ace.

Former AS Roma star, Davide Bombardini, is pushing for the Serie A champions to sign Zirkzee should Osimhen eventually be sold at the end of the season, with the latter having scored 11 goals across all competitions for Thiago Motta's side.
