Most Clean Sheets in Europe's Top 5 Leagues

1. Yann Sommer (17, Serie A)

Inter Milan are running away with the Serie A title this season, thanks in large part to the brilliance of Yann Sommer between the posts.

The Swiss goalkeeper has recorded 17 clean sheets for Inter this season, the most in the Italian top flight. He has recorded clean sheets in 60.7 per cent of matches played (28).

He has proven to be a shrewd signing for Inter, who had to replace Andre Onana during the offseason after his move to Manchester United. They currently hold a 14-point lead at the top of the table with 10 league matches remaining.

2. Unai Simon (15, La Liga)

Unai Simon has been outstanding between the posts for Athletic Bilbao this season, leading the Spanish top flight with 15 clean sheets thus far this campaign.

He has recorded shutouts in 51.7 per cent of matches played (29), helping his club move up to fourth place in the La Liga table, per TransferMarkt.

3. Marcin Bulka and Lucas Chevalier (14, Ligue 1)

Marcin Bulka and Lucas Chevalier are locked in a tight battle for the clean sheet lead in Ligue 1, each recording 14 shutouts in the French top flight this season.

Bulka has recorded shutouts in 53.8 per cent of matches played (26), helping Nice move up to fifth place in the Ligue 1 table.

Chevalier also has recorded clean sheets in 53.8 percent of the matches he has played in (26), helping Lille move up to the fourth spot in the Ligue 1 standings.

4. Lukas Hradecky (12, Bundesliga)

Bayer Leverkusen's dominance in the Bundesliga this season wouldn't be possible without the brilliance of Lukas Hradecky between the posts.

The Finnish goalkeeper has recorded 12 clean sheets for Bayer Leverkusen this season, the most in the German top flight. He has posted shutouts in 48.0 per cent of matches played (25).
