Manchester United co-owner, Sir Jim Ratcliffe, has responded on whether the club could make a move for Jurgen Klopp to replace Erik ten Hag.
The Liverpool manager is set to be without a job at the end of the season after he announced his intent to quit Anfield this summer.
The German tactician took the football world by surprise in January when he dropped the bombshell on his intent to depart Anfield after more than seven years in charge.
In his announcement, Sky Sports reported that the 56-year-old disclosed that he was 'running out of energy'.

Given his credentials, the Liverpool boss is not expected to be out of a job for long, with a number of top European clubs expected to tempt him with an offer.
Recently, Ratcliffe was asked if United would consider such a prospect, with the British billionaire responding:
"You can't ask questions like that, Geraint!" he said on the Geraint Thomas Cycling Club podcast, per Sportskeeda.
Current Red Devils boss, Erik ten Hag, is facing an uncertain future at Old Trafford, with a section of fans calling for his sacking.
