According to SPORTbible, the Ivorian picked up a serious knee injury during the pre-season, which saw him miss action for the better part of the start of the 2023/24 campaign.

However, he has since returned to full training, in what was thought to have been a huge injury boost to ten Hag.

But despite being fully fit, the winger has been limited to just 63 minutes of action across competitions, leaving the youngster furious.

So disappointed Diallo is that he has seemingly deleted everything related to the Red Devils from his social media accounts.

As cited by @centredevils on X, the 21-year-old's only remaining Instagram posts are dedicated to Sunderland.

Diallo also edited his X bio to 'Tout cela finira' which loosely translates to, 'this will all end.'

The forward's latest social media activity came at a time when he was hoping to make an impression at Old Trafford after a successful loan spell at the Stadium of Light.

The Ivory Coast international scored 14 goals in 42 appearances for the Black Cats to lift the PFA Fans' Player of the Year award.

He was also voted Sunderland's Young Player of the Year at the time.

Diallo scores brilliant solo goal

Earlier, Sports Brief reported on Diallo lighting up social media after a superb solo goal for Sunderland against Birmingham on Friday, November 11.

For his goal, Diallo got the ball on the right wing before cutting in on his preferred left foot and striking a beautiful goal into the top corner.

His goal and overall performances for Sunderland on the night earned Diallo a man of the match award.
