Strength of schedule

Six of Liverpool's last 10 Premier League matches will come against clubs currently inside the top 10.

They will be tested right after the international break, with the Reds hosting Brighton at Anfield on March 31. They will then travel to Old Trafford the following weekend to face Manchester United, the team that eliminated them in the FA Cup.

Liverpool have a difficult title run-in, with their last four matches coming against teams inside the top 10. They will face seventh-ranked West Ham United on April 27, fifth-ranked Tottenham Hotspur on May 4, fourth-ranked Aston Villa on May 11, and ninth-ranked Wolves on May 19.

Liverpool's remaining home and away matches

Five of Liverpool's remaining 10 matches will take place at Anfield. They will lock horns with Brighton on March 31, Sheffield United on April 4, Crystal Palace on April 14, Spurs on May 4, and Wolves on May 19 at home.

The Reds will face some difficult tests on the road as well, with Liverpool having away games against top-10 teams Manchester United, West Ham United, and Aston Villa.

Liverpool's Merseyside derby clash against Everton at Goodison Park was postponed over the weekend because of their FA Cup quarter-final with Manchester United. That contest will be rescheduled to a later date.

Past meetings with remaining opponents

The Reds have fared well against their remaining opponents, defeating seven of them in their previous matchups this season.

Liverpool won against Sheffield United, Crystal Palace, Fulham, West Ham United, Aston Villa, Wolves, and Everton in their first meetings this campaign.

Among the Premier League clubs that they will still face this season, only Tottenham have recorded a win against them.

Liverpool lost 2-1 to Ange Postecoglou's men at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Joel Matip scored an own goal deep into second-half stoppage time to hand all three points to Spurs, per the BBC.

Man City's remaining Premier League matches

Sports Brief recently reported on Manchester City's 2024 Premier League schedule.

The defending champions will be tested right after the international break, with their next two games coming against teams inside the top 5.

They will next face Arsenal on March 31 in a top-of-the-table showdown.
