Mohammed Kudus has expressed gratitude to the stadium steward who allowed him to use his seat while performing his newest celebration.

He added his second of the game a few minutes later as the Hammers progressed to the quarter-final on a 5-1 aggregate.

In celebrating the first of his two strikes, Kudus avoided running onto the advertising board to take a seat after he implored a steward for his chair. He then sat on it to perform the 'take a breath' jubilation.

Days after the match, the attacking midfielder took to social media to thank the steward for his gesture.

"ALHAMDULILAH! Massive win and energy from The Irons. Thanks to the steward for making it possible for me to add more juice to my thing," he wrote on X, formerly Twitter.

The 23-year-old has been in sensational form since moving to England, netting his tenth and eleventh goals for the London outfit.

Meanwhile, West Ham will face unbeaten Bayer Leverkusen in the quarter-final, per the official website of Europa League.

Kudus scores beautiful solo goal

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Ghanaian midfielder Mohammed Kudus scored an incredible solo goal as West Ham thrashed German Bundesliga side Freiburg to advance in the Europa League.

The West Ham star netted twice in the 5-0 win with the London club progressing 5-1 on aggregate at the London Olympic Stadium.

Kudus was returning to the scorers sheet for the first time since December 28, 2023, when he netted in the 3-0 victory over Arsenal.

Garry Neville points out Kudus' weaknesses

Sports Brief also reported that former Manchester United defender, Gary Neville advised Ghanaian midfielder Kudus to improve his decision-making.

Kudus served an assist as the Hammers defeated Brentford 4-2 at the London Olympic Stadium on Monday night.

Despite the performance of the 23-year-old, Neville was not impressed with the winger's final touches, insisting Kudus sometimes over elaborates on the ball.
