Arsenal's players have been accused of over-celebrating, and it seems the fans are none the better.

As noted by The Mirror, Ferdinand was upset with how Arsenal's supporters celebrated Liverpool's draw against Manchester City.

The draw meant Arsenal are top of the English Premier League table with 10 games to go.

Why Ferdinand is unhappy with Arsenal supporters

Appearing on the Vibe with FIVE podcast, Ferdinand watched his co-host and Arsenal fan over-celebrate the fact the Londoners were top of the league.

While he found it a bit funny, the antics also annoyed him.

"What am I seeing? ...There are three teams playing now to win the league which is Liverpool, Man City and Arsenal - I actually want you boys to win it. But you and some of your fans make me not want you to win it."

Ferdinand's run-in with Arsenal fans

The defender's comments are not the first time Ferdinand has had something to say about the Gunners.

The Metro noted that he had previously angered the fanbase when he suggested that Bukayo Saka wasn't world-class.

In an ironic turn of events, Ferdinand was stuck on a flight with Arsenal supporters as he flew to Portugal for the Gunners' Champions League game against Porto.

The supporters quickly reminded him of his comments, and the former Man United star had a bit of fun with them by reiterating his comments about Saka.

Ferdinand booed by Arsenal fans

Sports Brief recently reported how Ferdinand was booed by a set of Arsenal fans after his recent comments about Bukayo Saka.

The Manchester United legend angered the Gunners’ fanbase when he made a comment about their English youngster.

Ferdinand claimed that Saka was not world-class yet and that Manchester City’s Phil Foden was a better player than him.
