  • Victor Osimhen is Arsenal, Chelsea, and Manchester United's reported target
  • The three Premier League clubs are said to be keen on signing the Napoli star
  • Paris Saint-Germain is the only team outside of England reportedly interested

Victor Osimhen could reportedly be playing in the Premier League next season, according to transfer expert, Ben Jacobs, who has claimed the Napoli striker would prefer a move to England.

Chelsea, Arsenal, and Manchester United have all been linked with an interest in the 25-year-old Nigerian forward but will have to battle French champions, Paris Saint-Germain, for his services.

According to All Nigeria Soccer, Jacobs said PSG are the only team of all of Osimhen’s suitors who can comfortably pay the Napoli forward's expected wages but the striker would love to play in the Premier League.

"Napoli are going to insist Osimhen's £100 million-plus release clause is paid, and the Nigerian striker wants around £250k per week. These numbers might give PSG an edge since they have freed up around €200mil gross from Kylian Mbappe's departure at the end of the season.

However, Jacobs also noted that Chelsea, Arsenal, and Man United could not be ruled out due to the Nigerian striker's professed interested in the English league.

Osimhen recently signed a contract extension with Napoli until 2026, but president, Aurelio De Laurentis, believes the star could be sold for the right price in the summer.

Osimhen’s estimated new salary range

Meanwhile, Osimhen has reportedly told any club willing to sign him that he will be willing to be paid around £250,000 per week by his new employers, per Score Nigeria.

The Nigerian forward is already the highest-paid player at Napoli after he extended his contract with the Serie A club, but he wants a higher-paying package should he make the switch in the summer.

Chelsea have opened talks with Osimhen about a possible transfer at the end of the season, although Manchester United and PSG are also keen to make an offer for the striker.

Capello extols Napoli’s Victor Osimhen

Earlier, Sports Brief also reported that Fabio Capello has insisted replacing Osimhen at Napoli will be difficult for the reigning Serie A champions.

His incredible form has been instrumental in the club's recent success, guiding the Italian team to their first Scudetto in three decades last season.
