  • Casemiro and Rodrigo MUniz were spotted exchanging shirts at half-time
  • The Manchester United midfielder was later taken off after a nasty collision
  • Erik ten Hag's side lost 2-1 to end their unbeaten streak since the turn of the year

Football fans were left perplexed after Casemiro and Rodrigo Muniz exchanged shirts at half-time during Manchester United's game against Fulham on February 24.

Fulham made the trip North to play an Erik ten Hag side that had yet to taste defeat this year. Marco Silva's men, on the other hand, have been unfortunate on their travels this season, with their last away win coming on the opening day of the campaign.

The Londoners dominated the contest but were unlucky to get the breakthrough, with Andre Onana pulling off a couple of decent stops to keep the scores level before the break.

Manchester United, who were missing top scorer Rasmus Hojlund, were fortunate not to have Harry Maguire sent off in the 36th minute after a tough challenge on Sasa Lukic.

Casemiro swaps shirts with opponent at half-time

The other talking point of the game was at half-time when Casemiro and Fulham striker Rodrigo Muniz exchanged shirts as the two teams went down the tunnel.

Players often swap their jerseys after the game is over and hardly talk to each other during the break. To make it even more bizarre, Casemiro was taken off after just seven minutes upon restart after a nasty head collision.

"Two opponents swapping jerseys at half-time. Yep. The world has gone soft."

Calvin Bssey later opened the scoring for Fulham before Maguire restored parity in the 89th minute. Alex Iwobi, however, won the game for the Cottagers deep into stoppage time.

Fernandes in furious change with referee

Sports Brief has also reported that Bruno Fernandes was spotted yelling at the referee after their loss to Fulham.

The Manchester United skipper failed to inspire his side to victory and let out his frustrations at Michael Oliver after the final whistle.

United next play cross-town rivals Manchester City after a midweek FA Cup assignment away to Nottingham Forest.
