Boniface has been outstanding for Leverkusen this season, netting 10 goals and making seven assists in 16 Bundesliga appearances.

He has also scored four goals and registered an assist in five Europa League matches during this campaign.

However, GOAL reports that Leverkusen are not prepared to entertain offers for the striker, who is a crucial member of the squad.

It was gathered that the German outfit have valued the striker at €40 million (£34m/$43.28m), viewing him as a cornerstone of their future plans.

His contract with the club runs until 2028, but the club hold a position of strength in any potential negotiations, which means that Chelsea would need to make a substantial financial offer to secure his signature.

Another striker on the radar of the club is Pedro, and while the London club may be interested in acquiring the Brazilian forward, Pedro finds himself facing criticism from his own club's fans.

Reports have it that his recent performance in the match against Boa Vista did little to appease the disgruntled supporters.

Chelsea send scouts to monitor Osimhen

Sports Brief earlier reported that Chelsea are not relenting in their pursuit of Victor Osimhen who is top on their list of targets for next summer.

The Blues are determined to beat rivals Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain to the signature of the 25-year-old following his goalscoring exploits for Napoli since he joined the Serie A giants.

Osimhen signed a new contract with Napoli late in 2023, guaranteeing him the right to leave in the Serie A club this summer - but only if a team is ready to pay the €120-130 million release fee mentioned in the new deal.
