In an exclusive chat with Sports Brief, Ahmed Musa explained what it means for him to captain the Super Eagles to the quarter-final of the competition.

"It's a big celebration for us, and we will just keep on concentrating for the next game," he said.
"Like I said earlier, we don't have to talk much. We just need to talk more on the pitch, as you can see in the game today; that's what we're doing.
"So we'll keep on [progressing] step by step into the next game."

The three-time African champions will face the Palancas Negras of Angola in the quarter-finals next month.

The Black Sable Antelopes were the first team to progress to the last eight after defeating the Brave Warriors of Namibia 3-0 in the first round of 16 clash.
