In an exclusive interview with Sports Brief, Ahmed Musa explained what changed in the team that led to their 2-0 win over the Indomitable Lions.

"What really changed was our concentration, and we believed in our own selves," the former CSKA Moscow forward confirmed.

The former Leicester City forward also reacted to Nigeria booking a place in the quarter-final at the expense of Cameroon.

"Like I said earlier, I told you guys we only talk on the pitch, and we will keep on doing that by the grace of God," he added.

Nigeria's next opponent in the competition would be against the Palancas Negras of Angola in the last eight.

Nigeria's quarter-final match with Angola will be held at the same stadium for the round of 16 tie against Cameroon on Friday, February 2, according to a report by Soccerway.
