They find themselves at the bottom of Group E with just one point scored.
They will be without Taha Yassine Khenissi for the remainder of the tournament after he suffered a knee injury in the match against Namibia, per The Standard.
Tunisia are unbeaten in their previous three meetings with South Africa dating back to 2000, recording two wins and one draw.
They last faced each other in the Africa Cup of Nations in 2008, with the Eagles of Carthage recording a 3-1 victory. Santos starred for Tunisia in that contest, scoring goals in the eighth and 34th minutes.
Bafana Bafana only need a draw against Tunisia for them to advance to the round of 16, per Goal.com.

FootballA defeat isn't the end of the world for South Africa as they can still reach the knockout stage even with that result.
They will need Mali to beat Namibia in the other group match for them to qualify as one of the four best third-placed teams.

Tunisia need to grab all three points against South Africa this afternoon for them to reach the last 16. Jalel Kadri's side will finish bottom of Group E if they lose or record a draw against Bafana Bafana.
